Time is a currency in Time Bank. Time earned in serving elder member is deposited in the Time Bank account in terms of hours. One may avail services in lieu of time earned and saved in his/her bank account at the time of need.

Registered members of TBoI spend time with lonely elder members of TBoI and provide them human support by taking them out for a change or taking care during illness or hospitalization. Each member has his/her time account in this bank. The time spent in serving is recorded by the Bank itself and at the same time passbooks are prepared online, which can be viewed by the members under their Login.
Yes, it is registered under Trust act with Devasthan Vibhag Government of Rajasthan having Reg No. 188/2019. TBoI is established on 27.12.2018 and got its registration certificate on 25.04.2019.
Time Bank and its logo is also registered Trade Mark of TBoI with Reg No 4416407 dated 22 Jan 2020
It is also registered u/s 80G and 12AA of Income Tax Act thus donations to TBoI are exempted u/s 80G.
TBoI is registered with NGO Darpan under NITI Aayog of Govt of India with Reg No. RJ/2020/0251492 since 13 Jun 2021.
Jaipur Police Authorities has issued written instructions to all Police Stations to connect lonely senior citizens with TBoI through their beat constables.
Higher Education department, Govt of Rajasthan has introduced a new compulsory subject named “Anandam” in Government UG, PG, polytechnic and Sanskrit college. Under the subject students have to do community services in all years/semesters of the course for a certain number of hours. TBoI is the only NGO for which they recommanded to connect students with us to serve the elders.
University of Rajasthan has inducted TBoI in their committee on courses for Anandam Subject.
TBoI is recognized as first Time Bank in India Book of Records.
Some Universities have approved TBoI for internship of their students.
Our objective is to create a social community structure which can provide a family atmosphere to the helpless, lonely elder persons by the willing Members those will provide help like family members by devoting their time as per their convenience thereby earning the equal number of hours spent by them which can be claimed by them at the time of their needs. Thus a chain of mutual help is created without involvement of any money transaction between them throughout the country.
Any person of 18+ of age can become its member by registering online at our website www.timebankofindicom or via our Mobile App “Time Bank of India” after downloading it from Google Play Store or offline by submitting duly filled and signed membership form to PIN code administrator (Admin). Additionally, a Photograph and any ID proof is also required to be uploaded on the TBoI website.
To check the genuineness and verification of the members. It will provide safety and sense of satisfaction to all that the it's members are KYC compliant.
There is no membership fee, annual fee, entrance fee. It's completely free. Neither the member will get any remuneration nor he/she has to pay for the help. One has to devote or avail time only.

Every postal PIN code area is a branch, administered by one or more volunteer. They are called the Admins. It's non remunerative post. Any person with age of 18+ years, has zeal to serve, ready to devote some extra time, a working knowledge of computer or mobile, can become an Admin of his PIN code area by submitting a request to the Head Office.
To verify authenticity of a new member and activate/approve him on website.
To arrange periodical meetings to make the members familiar and open.
To monitor the received help, move request to members residing in that PIN code area.
To assign help request to willing members and close it after completion.
Time Bank operates on nominal expenses, being contributed by trustees or to some extent by Admins on volunteer basis. There is no office or Advertising expenses. Thus we have very nominal administrative cost. Everything is on website or mobile app. Our branch heads are only working on volunteer basis from home office either with their mobile or computer.
TBoI is designed to serve members by members. But on humanitarian grounds in emergent cases, non members can also be served. However, for regular company or help, one has to be a registered and verified member. One needs to be a trustworthy and known person for day to day company or help which is possible only when they are well known to each other and are close associates.
Definitely, every one can get services without any earlier deposit of time and also without any commitment to repay. If there will be a suffering member, will certainly be looked after by someone ready to render service. We have almost all members willing to serve. Rather, we need members who require help.
TBoI is established as a Trust by its founder Chairman Prabodh Chand Jain and founder Managing Trustee Anil Kumar Khosla. It is operated by a "Governing Council" which is the apex body of TBOI.
Rotary District 3056 (earlier 3054) is the awareness partner of TBoI. They have recognized the importance of Time Bank in present context and providing us platform to promote TBoI.
As on Mar 2025, thousands of hours of services exchanged by attending 1200+ help requests, Total members around 7000, 15 PIN code units in Jaipur with many small area units within PIN codes, presence in almost all major cities of India.
Most important is the mental satisfaction of doing something for the society, specially for lonely elderly persons.
Youth living away from parents get satisfaction by serving elders in their area that someone is also there to take care of their parents.

किसी भी व्यक्ति के द्वारा सेवा करने में खर्च किए समय (घंटे) के बदले उतने ही समय के बराबर सेवा के घंटे जमा करने की सुविधा का नाम समय या टाईम बैंक है । समय बैंक में समय (घंटे) एक मुद्रा की तरह काम करता है । जिसे जब आवश्यकता हो उसे भुनाया जा सकता है।
टाईम बैंक ऑफ इंडिया देश का पहला समय बैंक है जो कि इंडिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स में भी दर्ज है ।
पंजीकृत सदस्यों द्वारा किसी अन्य जरूरतमंद एकाकी वरिष्ठ /बुजुर्ग सदस्यों की सहायता के लिए और उनके एकाकीपन को दूर करने के लिए उनके साथ समय व्यतीत किया जाता है। जैसे उन्हें घर से बाहर ले जाने में सहायक बनना, बीमारी में देखभाल करना या अस्पताल में भर्ती रहने के दौरान सहायक की भूमिका निभाई जाती है, आवश्यकताएं कई प्रकार की हो सकती हैं। समय बैंक में प्रत्येक सदस्य का 'समय खाता' खोला जाता है जिसमें उनके द्वारा सेवा में व्यतीत किये गए समय को घंटो के रूप में जमा खर्च किया जाता है । प्रत्येक सदस्य हमारी वैबसाइट पर अपने खाते में लॉगिन करके अपनी पासबुक देख सकता है ।

हमारा उद्देश्य, पूरे भारत में पोस्टल पिन कोड की छोटी छोटी शाखाओं के रूप में एक ऐसे सामाजिक संरचना का निर्माण करना हैं जहां पंजीकृत सदस्य अन्य पंजीकृत सदस्य, विशेषकर अकेले वरिष्ठ सदस्यों / बुजुर्गों को आवश्यकता पड़ने पर अपना समय देकर (आर्थिक नहीं ) सहायता कर स्वयं के लिए भी समय जमा करे ताकि उन्हें भी जरूरत पड़ने पर मदद मिल सके। विघटित होते जा रहे संयुक्त परिवार की प्रथा को तो हम रोक नहीं सकते या वापस नहीं ला सकते, किन्तु इस विघटन से उत्पन्न कमी को कुछ हद तक पूरा करने का प्रयास जरूर कर सकते हैं ।
18+ आयु का कोई भी व्यक्ति, स्त्री, पुरुष आदि हमारी वेबसाइट www.timebankofindia.com पर या गूगल प्ले स्टोर से हमारी एन्ड्रोयड मोबाइल एप डाउनलोड कर, रजिस्टर कर सदस्य बन सकता है । ऑफलाइन फार्म भर कर, पिन कोड एडमिन को देकर भी सदस्य बना जा सकता है । पंजीकरण के समय अपनी फोटो और कोई आई डी अपलोड करनी आवश्यक है ।
सदस्यों का सत्यापन करने के साथ साथ उनमें ये विश्वास जगाने के लिए कि पंजीकृत सदस्य की केवाईसी कर ली गई है।
किसी प्रकार का सदस्यता, वार्षिक या प्रवेश शुल्क नहीं है । ना ही सदस्यों द्वारा किसी प्रकार का भुगतान लिया या दिया जाता है । सब कुछ बिना किसी आर्थिक लेन देन के होता है । बस आपको सेवा में अपना समय देना है और जरूरत पड़ने पर सेवा के लिए समय लेना है, जो सदस्यों द्वारा सदस्यों के मध्य ही होता है ।
सेवा के लिए आवेदन तीन प्रकार से किया जा सकता है ।
बैंक की वैबसाइट पर लॉगिन करके add request ऑप्शन पर जाएँ और अपना अनुरोध दर्ज कर दें ।
अपने क्षेत्र के व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप में लिख दें ।
अपने एरिया (पिनकोड) एडमिन को फोन कर बता दें । क्रम 2 व 3 के अनुरोध भी एडमिन द्वारा वैबसाइट पर दर्ज किये जाते है । इसके बाद एडमिन इच्छुक सेवा प्रदाता को इसे आबंटित कर देता है और फोन के माध्यम से इसकी मोनिटरिंग करता है ।
प्रत्येक पोस्टल पिन कोड एरिया एक शाखा के रूप मे काम करती है जिसका परिचालन एक या अधिक सदस्यों द्वारा स्वेछिक रूप से किया जाता है । कोई भी 18+ आयु का व्यक्ति जिसमें सेवा भावना हो, थोड़ा अतिरिक समय दे सकता हो और कम्प्यूटर या मोबाइल उपयोग करने का सामान्य ज्ञान हो, एडमिन के लिए अनुरोध कर सकता है । यह एक अवैतनिक पोस्ट है जिसके लिए प्रधान कार्यालय को अनुरोध करना होता है ।
अपने क्षेत्र के पंजीकृत सदस्यों का सत्यापन कर वैबसाइट पर अनुमोदित करना ।
नियमित अंतराल पर सदस्यों की मीटिंग आयोजित कर उन्हे आपस में परिचित करा कर मित्र बना देना ताकि सेवा लेने या देने में किसी को कोई संकोच नहीं हो ।
प्राप्त सेवा अनुरोध को पूरा करने के लिए सदस्यों से संपर्क करना, इच्छुक सदस्य या सदस्यों के नाम पर वेबसाइट पर अंकित करना, फोन पर मॉनिटर करना तथा पूरा होने पर बंद करना । ये सब कहीं पर भी रहते हुये मोबाइल या कंप्यूटर पर हो जाता है ।
टाईम बैंक न्यूनतम खर्च पर काम करता है जिसकी पूर्ति ट्रस्टियों द्वारा और कुछ सीमा तक हमारे एडमिंस द्वारा स्वैच्छिक रूप से की जाती है । हमारा कोई ऑफिस या प्रचार खर्च नहीं है । सबकुछ हमारी वेबसाईट या मोबाईल ऐप के माध्यम से होता है । पिन कोड एडमिन भी अपने कंप्यूटर या मोबाइल पर घर से ही अवैतनिक कार्य करते हैं ।
टाईम बैंक अवधारणा के अनुसार केवल सदस्यों द्वारा सदस्यों को ही समय दिया जाता है । किन्तु मानवीय आधार पर आपातकालीन स्थिति में गैर सदस्यों को भी सेवा प्रदान की जा सकती है । नियमित संग-साथ और सेवाओं के लिए हर एक का सत्यापित सदस्य होना आवश्यक है । दैनंदिन सहयोग या साथ के लिए विश्वसनीय साथी होना आवश्यक है जो केवल सदस्य बनने के उपरांत आपसी मेलमिलाप से ही संभव है ।
जी हां, अवश्य मिलेगी । पहली बार कोई तो होगा जो सेवा लेगा, तभी तो सेवा देने वाले को अवसर मिलेगा । अतः बिना पूर्व जमा और बिना वापस लौटने के वादे के भी निसंकोच सेवाएं ले सकते हैं । हमारे लगभग सभी सदस्य सेवा देने के इच्छुक हैं । वस्तुतः हमें सेवा लेने के इच्छुक व्यक्तियों की सदैव तलाश रहती है ।

जयपुर पुलिस कमिश्नर ऑफिस द्वारा जिले के सभी पुलिस थानों को लिखित में सलाह दी गई है कि उनके बीट कांस्टेबलों के माध्यम से क्षेत्र के एकाकी बुजुर्गों को टाईम बैंक से संबद्ध किया जाए ताकि उनकी देखबाल हो सके ।
उच्च शिक्षा विभाग, राजस्थान सरकार द्वारा सभी कॉलेजों में हर वर्ष के लिए आनंदम नाम से एक अनिवार्य विषय प्रारम्भ किया गया है जिसमें छात्रों को प्रतिवर्ष निश्चित घंटों की समाज सेवा करनी होगी । टाईम बैंक ऑफ इंडिया एकमात्र एनजीओ है जिसके लिए सभी कॉलेजों और यूनिवर्सिटीज़ को लिखित सलाह देकर छात्रों को टाईम बैंक से सामध करने हेतु कहा गया है ।
राजस्थान युनिवर्सिटी द्वारा तो टाईम बैंक को उनकी आनंदम विषय के लिए गठित कमिटी में सदस्य ही बना लिया गया है ।
बुक ऑफ रिकार्ड्स में देश के प्रथम समय बैंक के रूप में दर्ज है ।
कुछ यूनिवर्सिटी ने अपने छात्रों की इंटर्नशिप के लिए हमें अनुमोदित किया हुआ है ।
मार्च 2025 अनुसार, 1200+ सेवा अनुरोध के अंतर्गत 5000 से अधिक घंटों की सेवाएँ, 7000 से अधिक सदस्य, जयपुर में 15 पिन कोड शाखाएँ तथा उनके भीतर छोटी छोटी एरिया यूनिट्स, तथा देश के लगभग सभी प्रमुख शहरों में शाखाएं कार्य कर रही हैं ।
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तो समाज के लिए, खासकर हमारी धरोहर-हमारे बुजुर्गों की सेवा करने पर आत्म संतोष ।
दूसरा अपने भविष्य के लिए समय जमा कर लेना कि जरूरत पड़ने पर हमारा सहयोग करने के लिए लोग उपलब्ध है । दुर्भाग्य से जल्दी मृत्यु को प्राप्त नहीं हुए तो हम सभी को जरावस्था का सामना करना ही है ।
